At this week's meeting, we welcomed Laura Humphreys, Executive Director the South Bay Family YMCA.
Laura discussed how the YMCA responded to our community when critical needs surfaced due to Covid-19. The South Bay Family YMCA sprung into action to support families in a variety of ways, including partnering with the CVESD to support distance learning, providing Day Camp to over 100 campers per week, offering virtual exercise classes and programing to encourage active lives to seniors through PEARLS, and much more. Our community is lucky to have such engaging programs. Laura thanked CVSR members who have been active in their annual fundraising campaign! Thank you Laura!
