This week we welcomed Malte Niebelschuetz and learned about his company, Shore Buddies, whose mission is keeping plastics out of the ocean to save marine life.
Shore Buddies began in San Diego in 2014 and by 2020, had saved over 500,000 plastic bottles from entering our oceans. Each Shore Buddies toy is made from six plastic recycled bottles A big part of their program is to teach sustainabliity to children as they believe "Protection starts with Education."
