Our speaker this week was Captain Paul Swain from the Salvation Army.
Captain Swain, a former Rotarian from the Monterey area, announced that the Salvation Army will be opening a new Adult Rehabilitation Center in Otay Mesa next summer. This center assists individuals with addiction problems through counseling, spiritual sessions, 12-step programs, educational class, work therapy and more. Residents can remain in the program from 6 months to one year as they strive to give meaning to their lives once again.
