This morning we were joined by Andrew Gavin who shared about his Bikes 4 Kids Project, which began in 2015 on his wife's birthday. Rather than giving gifts, the Gavin's hosted a party and took donations with the intent of giving away 60 bikes to needy children in National City.

Now seven years later, their passion has grown to donate bikes and helmets, (and locks for secondary students) to deserving students in all thirteen schools in the city. Students receiving the bikes are selected on the basis of grades, attendance and attitude towards school. Andrew followed up with important information on selecting service projects based on passion of members, and the necessity of branding and marketing each project.
