At our recent Zoom meeting, we had the extreme pleasure to learn about using travel as a means for peace building and conflict resolution.
Aziz is a Palestinian who was raised in Jerusalem. He shared many stories about growing up in this conflict zone, including checkpoints, tear gas, and being shot at at age 7 or 8. He learned at a young age that getting to know others can bring people together, an idea which he has used extensively as he travels around the world. His recent book, "Crossing Boundaries- A Traveler's Guide to World Peace," documents the relationships along his path which has broken stereotypes to build understanding and empathy.
