We were joined by District Governor Don Fipps Thursday night at our monthly evening meeting at the KOA. DG Don met with the Board of Directors prior to the meeting, before he addressed the club members, sharing about his life in Rotary and the military.
We also met Rosebud, his four month old lab mix puppy in training for Canine Companions for Independence. Don and his wife have been puppy raisers for eight pups for CCI. Don stressed finding your passion and turning it into service for Rotary. Don remembered receiving a $500 scholarship at his high school graduation, awarded by the local Rotary Club, stressing that Rotary impacts lives everyday. President Gina happily completed her ransom demand and received back her Rotary bell.
